Babylon Junior-Senior High School’s

Environmental Science Club

Planted 3,500 Beachgrass Plants

The Beachgrass Plants were planted along the Western End of West Gilgo.
Nineteen Students Volunteered to Plant the Grasses
which will Help Prevent the Spread of Erosion from Winter’s Rain and Storm Damage.

We planted 7,000 Seedlings!

7,000 New Seedling Planted in 2009!
